A stylish and modern garden.
Designed in three main sections to give the garden a larger appearance while remaining low maintenance.
The client brief for the design was quite large for the space available. The idea behind the design was to break the garden into sections.
Removing the overgrown hedge added almost two feet to the garden.
This garden benefits from the main patio which receives full sun during the day. Following the path leads to a section of lawn surrounded by a planting scheme to increase the biodiversity of the garden.
Screened off by a low planted ilex hedge the path ends in a shaded decked area for relief from the sun. The planting scheme containing shade-tolerant plants such as ferns, foxgloves, and hydrangeas creates a relaxing environment within the garden.
